At the Isolotes sealion colony, several hundred sealions lounge and splash oblivious to their two-legged visitors. Pups will swim up and play as fish swim between your legs. It's an unforgettable experience topped off by a picnic lunch on a white sand beach. This is also a great place to try out scuba diving!

This is the event of a lifetime. From January to March, the California grey whales participate in the larget mammal migration on the planet. Starting in the cold waters of the Bering Sea near Alaska, the whales travel south arriving in the warm Baja waters to mate and give birth. Once hunted to near extinction, now thousands of whales arrive annually where they can be seen up close and personal.

This is really a great family event and should be at the top of your Baja adventure list. We pick you up from your hotel for a great breakfast, then shuttle you to the calm waters of Magdalena Bay on the Pacific Coast. In these calm sheltered waters, you'll board a panga (Mexican skiff) and with your guide you'll meander through the back bay where you may encounter dozens of whales in a single day.

Bring your camera because you'll never forget the baby whale that some right up to the boat to wink at you or having an adult suddenly shower the boat with a plume of spray before it glides below you in the shallow waters.
